Zehnder Charleston is a steel column radiator made in the Black Forest, Germany, built from separate sections of vertical tubes. This listing is the 3 column version: each section is 3 tubes deep, and Zehnder gives the depth as 100 mm.

What does the column number mean?

It is the number of tubes front to back in each section. Zehnder's depths are 62 mm for 2 column, 100 mm for 3 column, 136 mm for 4 column and 210 mm for 6 column.

What are the pipe centres?

With the standard bottom opposite end connections, the pipe centres are the radiator width plus the valves.

Are valves included?

No. Zehnder lists suitable valves among the materials you need.

Can sections be added later?

No. Zehnder only supplies complete radiators; extra sections cannot be joined to a stock radiator.
