Imperial sizes for like-for-like replacements
Every radiator in this range is listed in inches first and millimetres second, for example 21 × 37 inch (530 × 946 mm), so you can compare it directly with the radiator you are taking off the wall. Measure the height, the width and the position of the pipework on your existing radiator before you choose.
If your current radiators are metric, the Myson Premier HE Metric range covers the same family in millimetre sizes.
Choosing a panel type
Myson's own pages describe these panels by Type number. The product names in this range use the K1, P Plus and K2 names, so both are given here.
Type 11 (single convector, listed as K1)
One panel with one set of convector fins.
Type 21 (double panel extra, listed as P Plus)
Two panels with one set of fins between them.
Type 22 (double convector, listed as K2)
Two panels with two sets of fins. In every matching size in this range, the K2 lists a higher output than the K1 of the same height and width.
Matching output to the room
Start with the heat the room needs. Our BTU calculator gives an estimate in BTU; compare it with the output on each product. Myson publishes Premier HE outputs to EN 442, including figures at ΔT50 (75/65/20 °C). Each product page shows its rated output, and the test condition (ΔT) where it is stated. Outputs are only directly comparable when both products state the same ΔT.
Finish and power source
The whole range is finished in RAL 9016 traffic white and is designed for wet central heating systems.
