Elite widths go up to 3000 mm and heights start at 300 mm, so one Elite radiator can run a long way along a wall without rising far up it. Measure the length of the wall and the height below any window sill before you choose.
Many people search for a specific Elite panel type, so here is how they differ.
Single panel, one set of fins.
Double panel with one set of fins.
Double panel, two sets of fins. A K2 gives more heat than a K1 at the same size.
A small number of triple panel sizes, with three panels and three sets of fins.
When you replace an existing Elite, read its size from the label or measure its height, width and depth, then match the panel type. Pipe positions vary between radiators, so if you are not sure whether the new one will line up, ask a qualified installer.
Get an estimate of the heat the room needs from our BTU calculator, which gives a figure in BTU. Each product page shows its rated output, and the test condition (ΔT) where it is stated. Outputs are only directly comparable when both products state the same ΔT. Bear this in mind when you weigh an Elite against Stelrad Softline or another range.
The radiator finder filters by size, output and panel type across every brand. For more Stelrad choices, browse the Stelrad collection, or compare panel radiators from every brand.
