The triple panel option
Select Compact also comes as a triple K3, sold in titles such as "Myson Select Compact T33 600mm x 1000mm White Triple K3". A K3 has three panels and gives the most heat of the types at the same size. Check the depth on the product page against the space in front of the wall before you choose one.
The panel types in this range
Myson's own pages describe its panels by Type number; the product names here use the K1, P Plus, K2 and K3 names.
- Type 11 (single convector, listed as K1): one panel, one set of fins.
- Type 21 (double panel extra, listed as P Plus): two panels, one set of fins.
- Type 22 (double convector, listed as K2): two panels, two sets of fins. In the Select Compact sizes offered as both, the K2 lists a higher output than the K1.
- Triple K3 (T33): three panels, three sets of fins.
Heights and widths
Where sizes are listed, heights include 300, 400, 500, 600 and 700 mm, and widths run from 300 to 2400 mm. Some listings are named by Myson product code only and show no size, so check the specification table on the product page for their size.
Getting the output right
Start with the BTU calculator for an estimate, in BTU, of the heat the room needs, then pick a size whose listed output meets it. Each product page shows its rated output, and the test condition (ΔT) where it is stated. Outputs are only directly comparable when both products state the same ΔT.
Finish
White, listed as RAL 9016 traffic white on most sizes.
Compare and shortlist
Use the radiator finder to shortlist sizes from your measurements, compare with the Myson Premier HE Metric range, see every Myson radiator, or compare panel radiators from other brands.
